You’ll lead a team of engaged professionals that have a passion for fitness and helping our members achieve More Life!
As a Head Fitness Coach you can expect to perform the following duties:
- Leading and motivating members through pre-defined workouts
- Making sure members are using the correct form and offering corrections if they aren’t
- Understanding the science behind our workouts specifically, heart-rate focused training programs in general and being aware of what the competition is doing
- Knowing how to use and demonstrate usage for every piece of equipment utilized in every workout
- Being a team player
Additionally, you’ll need to meet these requirements:
- Hold and maintain a current fitness certification from an education company approved by Orangetheory Fitness
- Be AED/CPR certified
- Must be CPT certified, OTFit Certified and Lift45 Certified
- NASM, ACE, AFAA, NSCA, ACSM
Head Coach duties include:
- Responsible for creating a positive, high energy, respectful OTF studio environment
- Responsible for managing all aspects of the OTF fitness staff using the OTF business model
- Hires, trains, and educates new OTF group personal coaches for success using OTF business model
- Responsible for organization and cleanliness of the training floor, as well as other areas of the studio
- Communicate with members with upcoming promotions as well as organizing members events and outings
- Manage multiple social media platforms
- Responsible for maintaining equipment and a safe workout environment
- Responsible for OTF class schedule daily, weekly, and monthly as well as management of the MBO system. Ensuring all classes are covered one month in a advanced.
- Responsible for follow up communication with new and current OTF studio clients.
- Conducts monthly fitness staff meetings and workshops. Attends all relative, mandatory webinars and other requested corporate meetings. Staff development and didactic role play.
- Effective communicator
- Handles member concerns in a professional, objective manner with the goal of resolution.
- Must work 40 hours, including minimum of 12-15 classes per week, including weekends.
- Leads or assists Sales Associates with OTF studio tours/sales with new prospects as well as staying current with pricing options.
- Complete Payroll for fitness staff.
- Responsible for collecting new hire forms for OTF coaches.
- Stay up to date with fitness education and evolution of the orangetheory brand.
- Must be flexible and must work one weekend day and special studio events.
